My name is Sarah Lynn Phillips, I run Eye of the Hurricane. I am a junior in high school and have lived on the Outer Banks my entire life. I have seen the caliber and amount of artists residing here and I have known how special they are to our area. I wanted to help them get their name known to the public (since they are mostly in High School) and while doing so I am raising money to support hurricane relief efforts. 
It's no secret that the barrier islands of North Carolina get hit routinely by hurricanes. Every year we rebuild things, clean out businesses, take in those who lost their homes. By raising money from the art auction, at least now we can donate to the cause to help rebuild and provide essential materials like food and water. By purchasing art, you are not only helping spread the word of a young artist, but also supporting the OBX in maintaing the beautiful coast we call home.
